EXECUTIVE FUNCTION TRAINING
Executive function is a set of cognitive skills we use every day to engage in our environment. OT's are poised to address concerns such as motor planning, sequencing, praxis, problem-solving, emotional regulation, organization, memory, and use of compensatory strategies to support your child's needs.
SENSORY INTEGRATION
Sensory Integration is our body's ability to process and modulate external stimuli from our environment. This can be particularly challenging for children who may be sensory averse to various things like textures and noises or seek our more sensory input through running, jumping, and movement. Sensory diets are client specific programming that works to integrate sensory skills into your child's life.
FINE AND GROSS MOTOR DEVELOPMENT
There are various developmental milestones children reach to participate in school, play, and social activities. This includes grasping, bilateral coordination, and motor planning. We are able to do developmental testing to ensure your child is on the right track and develop motor programming to support areas of need.
PARENT COACHING
We offer a la carte programming for parents to add to encourage carryover to the home environment. At the end of all treatment sessions, your therapist will review some programming. However, our parent coaching sessions allow for 45-minutes of uninterrupted education, goal development, and session reviews.
